The idea

Scripts of Humanity turns the story of writing into a playable collectible deck. Each card is designed to introduce one writing system through authentic script examples, geography, approximate historical period, writing direction, material tradition, and concise historical context.
The illustrated mini-atlas is planned to expand the deck with maps, timelines, longer notes, references, and relationships between writing traditions. The product is still in development, so research records and final production details will continue to be refined before print.

- Displayed script examples must use verified Unicode text and appropriately licensed fonts.
- Historical notes are source-checked before print and marked when review is still in progress.
- Culturally sensitive presentation and specialist review are planned where appropriate.
- AI-generated characters are not used as authoritative writing examples.
If a glyph, spelling, regional classification, writing direction, date, or description cannot be verified, it is omitted or marked as awaiting review.
